I have a 1999 ford v10 motorhome. The battery isolator

Solenoid gets very hot--aux start will not work then--have new solenoid, both battery disconnects and new pc board. Can cool down by turning chassis switch off--unplug shore power-then hook batteries up. Prior owner replaced Isolator also so problem has been there for awhile I think. I bought with 8k miles on--now has 13 k miles. Is a Residency by Mountain High Coachworks. Thanks Jim

We now have the problem isolated to the aux. start wire going to the printed circuit board. By disconnecting it we can have the batterys hooked up and shore-power with the invertors working fine. Aux. start wire has 13.5 volts on it--invertor voltage. Suspect a miswire on the selonoids somewhere. Problem is not a short--problem is wrong voltage at a certain source.
