I have a 200 Hyundai Elantra that decelrates while I am driving on highway.

While drive my car is decelarates whil driving down the road. Any idea's

If it slows down smoothly like a wind is holding you back it could be fuel starvation (clogged fuel filter or fuel pump pressure low-blockage in tank or fuel line) restricted exhaust flow (clogged catalytic converter) brakes dragging (frozen handbrake or brake caliper piston frozen) the brake problems would most likely produce an odor or a burning smell though.

When I push the gas to the floor the car RPM will eventually go, I thoght it maybe a fuel pressure issue. Could it be the fuel pump?
