I just installed a new fuel pump in my 2001 Monte Carlo and now it won't let me pump gas

I have a 2001 Monte Carlo and installed a new fuel pump and now it will not let me put gas in it. It is not full of gas, almost empty but it just spits gas back out when I try to pump it in, Help

Since you just re installed the tank double check that the hose for the filler neck is not kinked and check the burp hose too, if either one is it wont let the gas in correctly
