I'm buying some 38" super swampers what size rim do I need?

The guy I'm buying them from said they would fit on a 15x10 rim or a 15x8 he thought. Would they fit a 16.5 rim?

NO! they have to be 15 ,with 38's at least 15 x 10, I wouldn't trust them on a 15 x 8, i would perfer 15x12

No. totally different diameter rims. the tires won't stretch from 15" to 16.5"
