I would tow no more then 1000 lbs , this car is not made to tow, and it might be unsteady , so keep it low, heres the tow cap, for both types of engines, but go a little lower on weight,

Duratec: 1750 lbs (794 kg)
Two engine choices: Vulcan 3.0-liter OHV V-6 with 155 h.p and more powerful Duratec 3.0-liter DOHC V-6 with 200 h.p.
