I was hit by an uninsured driver in my personal vehichle while at work on company property. Is my employer responsible to repair my vehicle?

I was hit by an uninsured driver while in my personal vehicle during work hours. I was traveling to an offsite warehouse to set up a work crew for the day. The accident took place in my workplaces parking lot. My employer wants me to claim under my own insurance. I have been told that my employer is responsible to insure all employees driving for work. I live in Washington state. I am looking for the law which covers this.
