In the state of New Jersey, is it permissable to dock an exempt employee's pay for tardiness? This tardiness is many times in excess of 30 minutes.

This is occurring on an "almost" daily basis right now and is all clearly documented by the manager on an on-going basis. The manager would like to give this employee "one more chance" prior to termination and is hopeful that docking the employee's pay will be the solution.

Yes make a house rule that for every 1/4 hour late dock his pay , 1/4 hour, this will work id say. and this will be all legal , so what can he say!, and one min late means 1/4 hour!
