Is a parking lot liable for damages to my car which occurred while it was parked on their lot?

I parked in a parking lot and paid the $10 fee. When I got the car back the right side window was broken. Are they responsible for the damages?
I live in New Jersey

IF THERE IS A SIGN STATING NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT THEN THEY WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE. IF YOU PAID TO PARK AND THERE WAS NO SIGN UP. THEN THEY ARE MOST DEF RESPONSIBLE.
