Is it illegal to drive with a broken right leg in arizona

I broke my right leg 2 months ago and can now put up to 40lbs of weight on it and can remove my support boot. Can I legally drive. I can physically safely operate a vehicle.

That could become a legal question if you have a wreck and its your fault , there is such a thing as driving while impaired that could come in to guestion

You should really wait, what if a child ran in front of you & your reaction time is slowed down by the cast. It probably isn't illegal, but common sense & your dr probably also told you, no.

The thing is, that if you get in a wreck, most insurance companies will battle against it in their favor as reason not to pay for damages. It puts you, the driver with the healinging right leg in the wrong. Although it doesn't take 40 pounds of pressure to opporate a motor vehicle talk to your doc. first. If he gives you the go head then you should be all good, if you are unsure get your doc to write it out.
