Yes the motor turns. Yes i pump the peimer bulb.
Change the spark plug , or take off the carb, cap , pour a little gas into the carb, put back on the cap , and pull the string,
Does your motor have a throtle control or is it a single speed==some of the ones that have trotle control have a kill switch built in the control must be in start position===the mowers with a bar across the handle some have a kill switch and some operate a fly wheel brake the bar must be depressed when starting=== when you prime the bulb on the carburator after 3 pumps you should feel resistance it should take no more than 5 ==if no resistance primer may be bad====you should check for spark if you dont know how to check for spark let me know
Sometimes it's cheaper just to buy a new one, if you keep having to spend money on parts for it.
Skoolie IS right. If its a push mower buy a new one. I overhaul mowers for years. Better to buy new.
Sorry---- I said buy a new one. I bought AT Gibsons for $50. I been looking one for you. About $130 is the low has I can find. Yard Sales is a good to find them.
