Can I get out of a car I bought from an auction in Michigan?

I bidded on a car and won the bid. I had to leave a 400.00 deposit. I have to pick the car up in 48 hours or I lose the 400.00. They said that I can't get the 400.00 back. What does the law state in Michigan? I used my visa to pay the deposit?

Usually credit card companies are good about sticking up for their customers which would be you. I'm sure they had you sign an agreement when you paid the deposit which clearly stated it is non-refundable. The state of Michigan would be behind the person holding the contract sign it is a written agreement. I would try to dispute the charges with the credit card company but you may have to eat this one.
