Levy on property [Florida]

A motorcycle [bought used in 2005 and was paid in full at time of purchase] was taken on levy for a bill that was over 16 years old [oct 1991] and will be put up for auction in 25 days, Can banks levy on property not owed on ? Can they levy on a motorcycle that was not part of the org bill? Is there a time limit on collection of this bill? How can I stop the auction and get my bike back. The bill was a credit card that was ran up by the Ex just before the devorice. I had no knowledge of this bill untill they came and took the bike. What can I do?

Credit cards are usual unsecured credit meaning no colateral put up to secure the loan , they had to get a judgement agaist you so how some way through the judical system in order to get a levy on your bike ,
must be more to it than a credit card
sounds more like a tax levy to me but if they got your bike you need a nd attorney , to get it back if you can , i would consult and attorney , they will talk to you for free
