Not enough power to starter. Sounds like not a big problem. Clean your battery post and cables. Check the voltage in battery. 12.5 is enought. If good voltage its dirty posts or bad connection. Check for loose wires.

If all your connections are clean and tight I would suspect it is your starter solonoid If you are mechanically inclined you can save yourself a lot of money by fixing it yourself instead of replacing the whole starter. The solonoid is mounted on the starter. Inside the solonoid you will probably find that the copper contacts are black and or corroded from arcing. replacing the contacts should fix the problem.
I think the clicking and hard to start would be from the kick starter.you cud have the bendies serviced(cleaned and greased) or if critical change your kickstarter.This problem usually occurs when water gets into the kick starter by moving thru a pool of water or washing your engine.
