Looseing coolant

Mi 1982 chevy deisel is blowing coolant out of the overflow jug i replaced the radiator cap and flushed the radiator any suggestions for what to do next the coolant looks foamy but there is no coolant in the oil when heat working it seems fine thermostat?

Your thermostat could be stuck closed, or the water pump could be malfunctioning, A rusted impeller, or bad bearings could cause your problem. It is also possible to have a blown head gasket without any antifreeze being in the oil, or vice versa.
