Ceck your brake lights for proper operation as the shift lock solenoid in the shifter is controlled by it, if your brake lights work suspect a faulty solenoid, if they dont suspect a faulty brake light switch.

I found my problem on my on. It was a short in the brake lights. I would like my $13.00 refunded to my credit card.
