Motorcycle
ยท n. a two-wheeled vehicle that is powered by a motor.
---There are many different arrangments of motors and drive mechanisms. So a few basics of the most common are.
Most are rear wheel drive. Front wheel steering.
Most have sprockets on the motor and on the drive wheel connected by a drive chain. a few have a drive belt (smoother). and a few have drive shafts (quieter, more durable, but more expencive)
Since they are heavier and faster than a bicycle most have suspension. Typical rear suspension is a swing arm type. While typical front suspension is forks with either internal springs or gas charged cylinders. There are other forms of suspension but rare.
The brakes have seperate controls for the front and rear wheels. Most of the time the front brake control is on the handle bars and the rear control is by the right foot. (US)
To change gears the clutch is also on the handle bars , with he gear selector lever controlled by the left foot. (US)
Motorcycles with smaller engines are mainly air cooled (less weight). there are a few exceptions. Ones with bigger motors can be water or aircooled.

Fuel is sucked in to a cylinder and is combusted by a spark and forces a piston down witch makes a crankshaft spin witch is connected to a gear box then a sproket and chain to the back wheel.
