R u living in the cold? A quick fix, that I am doing to my car right now is, & hubby says it is the computer is not working right in the cold is, I just turn key on , do not start car, & leave it alone for like a minute, then go back & start the car. Hubby says it just isn't remembering to chg temp or something, & that by turning key on, computer in car is like 're- booting' a computer. I really do not know what I am talking about, but it works, & on the warmer days , car starts just fine. Turn off heater & radio when 're-booting'.

I do not know why either, but as long as it works, I do not care.

That is a crazy solution. I wonder if that would always work

First time I have ever heard of that but sorry but an auto computer does not boot up like a your home computer it may be just the luck of the draw but hey if works! :) but really it sounds like you have more like a tune up problem such as bad spark plugs the most common cause of an almost starts but won't start condition. Check the gaps on the plugs if they are wide gapped and if they have been in there for many miles go ahead and have new ones put in. Check that air filter too if you can't see sunlight through it put a new one in it will save you lots of gas $$$$

I know that an auto computer does not boot like a computer, but I could understand those terms then the terms my hubby used. Actually on my car, I had a tune up , new plugs, everything just before winter, I only know this worked for me thru the winter, & now I did not need to do it lately cuz it has been warmer, & car is starting fine w/out turning on key.

It sounds like the ignition control module i'd have it checked for that or disconnect the battery wait a minute or two ,reconnect it as this will in most cases reset your computer in the vehicle. if that dosen't work,it very well may be the ignition control module.
