My car keeps cutting off, PLEASE HELP

I just got my car from the machanic, and he said i need a map sensor to stop the car from stopping on me on the road, if i dont press on the gas, slow down, or stop at a light the car stops, and shows battery, oil, and gas....I have brand new battery, oil is full, and gas is in th middle. I changed the mapsensor and it still doing the same thing. Please help
