My tahoe is intermitently not starting and then when I wait a few minutes it will then start.

I have had it in to the dealership to check the battery, starter, and alternater, and everything checked out fine. They said that it may be in the ignition switch and that the key is not fitting properly because of wearing. I have tried a different key and the results were the same. I am at a loss as to what this could be.

Theres a cylinder, in the key switch. that gets worn . when you use the key so much . its like a opening a house door and it wearing out. when this is worn it causes, the security. system to not recognize the key . and shuts off the electrics . until it get the read. and then goes ahead and starts . you need to replace the key switch! hope this helps
