On my 94 taurus, the key had to be in the exact position for the car to start, the key holder moves and then the key won't fit back into the lock

Cylinder. Today the key broke off in the igniton cylinder. How much will this cost to fix parts and labor?

Ive seen them charge a bunch of diff prices, for this , some will tell you its hard to do and will take all day , then some will charge 100.00 some 300.00 some one hour , at a cost of 45 to 55 dollars, why dont you buy the part and do it your self , its not that hard and just watch how every thing comes out and put it back in , write it on paper if you cant remeber good ,
