Why didn't you change this title then. this is a bad way to do business. and you can get into trouble for this. if he hits some one. or any thing. you need to get the car or truck towed to your house. and until he has this changed . its yours. and before he gets the car back have him pay the tickets. this car is yours. if its in your name. take it from him. this is legal. then take him to court for failing to change the title. and payment of the tickets. call a police man. and tell him this. so you can be in the clear. do this like yesterday !

When you sell a vehicle in Oregon, to some one, that person is responcible for transfering the title in to their name... I took my name off the vehicle as sold with the dmv, right away, and their records do show that it was sold.. but the person who bought it has not change the title over to their name... DMV records show vehicle has been sold, but that I was the last owner on the title.. and they are ticketing me
