Line should cost approx. 15 bucks, labor is going rate for one hour min. usually 20 to 40 bucks an hour
1999 Cavalier Power Steering Pressure Line
All Data lists the line @ $79.69
Mechanic labor time - 1 Hour
Try tightening it up , some times thats all they need if leaking at the fitting vibration make the work loose before replacing it , and you should be able to replace it your self with very little mechancal knowledge at all
All repair shops by law have to run thier company through a repair guide book now I don't have the book in front of me as I type but at a good guess the labor rate will be about 1.5 hours and the part would be about 60.00 and it depands on what the shop rate would be we will say 100.00 per hour
so labor would run 150.00 and 60.00 for the part . 210.00 plus taxes so somewhere in that neighborhood. gerry
