Problem with battery charger in my camper van

I recently plugged my campervan into a 230 elec socket in France and because there was a fault in the mains supply my on-board charger will not now work. My charger is a CBE model CB-510. I removed the cover and discovered the fuse has blown. I replaced the fuse with one I bought in Maplin which is 250V Trage 2A but it too blew. The fuse holder in the charger says 5x20. I am concerned that the charger is burned out although there are no obvious signs of that. The other question is if the replacement fuses I bought in Maplin are actually the correct ampage.

I would really appreciate your advice.

Many thanks

Len

One trick is to smell the board...if it smells fried...it probly is...although if the fuses still blowing on it...ummm hmmm ...well if it was made only for 110....the likelyhood is that you fried it...
