I know the info is in the haynes and chilton manuals but i can't get any access to those books easily.
Most relays are under the hood in a fuse like panel on one side or the other , it has a lot of little square boxes in it says relay on them for this that or the other
This is not a relay that is included in the fuse box...it would be located in a little bit of a different spot ...this relay is the automatic shutdown driver
Most cars today have an automatic fuel shut down relay in the trunk of the car that shuts the fuel off in case of a rear end impact or collision. I have heard of these shutting down the car simply by slamming the trunk hard or hitting a large bump. Sometimes even a light bumper tap will shut the car down. It is usually mounted on either sidewall of the trunk. In may protrude through the trunk liner or be behind it. There is a button on it that you push in to reset it.
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for as the nomenclature they provide varies from manufacturer to manufacturer but this is the only automatic shut down feature that I know of.
Thank you but this is not the same thing that i am looking for...typically these types of relay are found in one of the fenderwalls...it depends on the make for which fenderwall you would find it
Just curious as to what your drivability problem is ? and how the ASD relay was diagnosed as being your trouble ? at any rate I will check it out for you on my All Data System this Monday at work if you don't get an answer by then.. :)

Okay I found it.
The Auto Shut Down Relay is located in the power distribution center on the left inside fender.
It is the relay in the right corner of the box. The illustration just shows a picture of the box with no relationship of how its mounted in the car on the fender. # # X
