Repair drivers side window?

My car is a chevy lumina year 91 it has power windows and its now working the glass falls off when you put the window down so i was wondering how i can replace it

Depends on which part is bad the window motor assembly is usuallyriveted to the door youll have to pull entire interior panel and unplug motor. get drill and bit and just drill the rivet head it will fall off. then take a punch or small screwdriver too push rivets out. make sure to support glass so it doesnt fall and break. its kind of a puzzle to wiggle motor assembly out of the door. go to junk yard or order new up to you. To remount new unit either get rivets. or just buy some small machine screws or bolts and nuts, washers and lockwashers to bolt in place. maybe a dab of locktite red to kkep from loosening.

Some gms had replaceable clips on bottom of window or might have to change window if the mount is bad
