Replace window motor

When replacing the right door window motor on a 99 dodge caravan the spool of wire came unravelled from the plastic wheel that's part of the motor that controlls the window up and down. I can't seem to get it wound around the plastic wheel to regulate the window Could you explain how to do it, or should I buy the whole regulater assembly? I can't find any information on this installation!
