Yes they can do just about anything they want to , wouldn't you say that about the truth from your prior experiences with them .

Your license will stay revoked until you pay all of the fines and get insurance and apply for renewal. Only then can you get your license back. If you have paid all of the fines and court costs and you have to make sure that the state has all of your records updated. Sometimes the locals have not sent all records to the state so you are able to get everything cleared. This happened to our son. We had to go back to our local court and get record of the court dockets and the copies showing when paid and send to the state records before everything was cleared.

In our son's case he had paid all fines and court costs but the locals has not sent everything to the state to clear his record. He had to repay some of the fines and then send certified copies to the state before he could renew his license. As well as pay a big reinstatement fee and proof of insurance before he finally could get his license back. It pays to obey the driving laws correctly in the first place. I have been driving for 55 years and have never gotton a ticket. Praise the LORD for this. Better luck for your license to get back to you. It is difficult to have to beg someone to drive you everywhere you need to go.........Better obey the law or get a reliable bicycle...........

You should try to get an occupational license so you can at least drive to work.
