It sounds like you have a dead battery. If you are capable of taking it out, you can take it to your local autozone, or advance auto parts and they can tell you if it is bad or not. After battery replacement, be sure to have your alternator checked, make sure it is charging to specs.

That ticking sound when trying to start is from to low of voltage to the starter. You mentioned no electrical power also. This leads me to question your battery connections. Make sure they are clean and tight first. If you still have no start then have a neighbor jump start you with a good set of cables and head to walmart. They will test your battery and charging system and install a battery if you need it. If you rather do it yourself, i left detailed instructions on another question asking how to do such.

First make sure your batter cables are wrench tight. If the car starts, make sure you read 14.5 volts witha voltmeter at the battery. With the car off you should have around 12 volts.
