SCHEDULE C DEDUCTIONS

IF I TAKE THE STANDARD MILEAGE DEDUCTION, CAN I STILL DEDUCT AUTO INSURANCE UNDER THE INSURANCE DEDUCTION?

You can either take the standard mileage or actual expenses which would include insurance, but you can't do both. I've heard of people getting a separate liability policy for a million dollars and expense that, but I'm not sure that works.
