The torque converter clutch is operated by an electronic shift solenoid, it could have been a malfunction in the wiring or th solenoid may have stuck. Some times problems with other sensors on the engine can cause the transmission to malfunction. IF no other codes were set, my guess is the solenoid might be going bad, or it was a one time thing and it may never do it again I have seen it happen before and never again.
