Setting lifters

I have a 77 toyota land cruiser fj40. Haven't taken anything apart on the motor. Not sure if it has solid or hydrolic lifters in the stock 2f motor. The lifters are definately making noise, and I need to know if it is solid or not and how to adjust them. Thanks, Don
