Tree fell on vehicle

What is my course of action if a tree falls on my vehicle and I live in an apartment complex? Am I liable through my insurance company or is the property owner liable?

Could be a bit of both. Was the tree properly maintained? Was it knocked down by the weather? Where you parked in the designated parking area? There are a lot of things to sway it either way. Contact the property manager, and your car insurance company.

Have you talked to your insurance company yet? What did they say?

was the tree part of the land owned by the apartment complex?

In most cases a tree falling on your vehicle is consider an act of god and there for covered by your insurance. Unless you can prove neglect by your property management.
