Vehicle bucking on acceleration why?

I have a 2000 Ford Excursion with 155,000 miles and it started bucking. I had a fuel filter change and a tune up done and it stopped. It has started back today. The acceleration is very slow but once you reach a constance speed (level off) it stops. Any ideals on what I need to try now? The engine light was on but went off when we tuned it up and changed the filter.
