Very rughf idol

03 f150 crew cab 4.6 63000 miles. barley stays running at idol acts like not all cylenders are fireing. runs better when accelerated but feels underpowered. and at idol it sounds and acts like it has a race cam in it just loaps.

Sounds like you could have a firing problem strat it up and start pulling plug wires off one at a time and putting them back on till you fine one that dont make any difference in the way it sounds if its on or off , could be more that one , could be the wire or the spark plug , if you can hear or see the fire jumping from the wire or it bites (shocks) you you know its not the wire or the fire its the plug or you have a burnt valve
