What are the laws of having "speeder balls" attached to the steering whell of any vehicle on roads?

Is it leagal to install items onto steering wheels for a quicker turning responce for non handicaped drivers and non agricultral vehicles?

Not that I know of, I don't think that there is a law in effect for those types of devices attached to vehicles

They were outlawed in a lot of states because they tend to grab your clothes which becomes a problem when your stering trys to correct it selh in or after a turn check with the department of public safty [ i belive they were outlawed in the 60s ] or at least that is what i was told when the cop told me to take it off my old chevy
