What can be wrong with my transmission on my '94 mercury cougar, please help?
I have a '94 mercury cougar, V8, 4.6, with overdrive & it doesn't go into 2nd gear, gets up to 55mph but rpms run too high. What can the problem be? I was told it could be a sensor, but don't know which one, another said it could be a wire but again don't know which is the problem.
