What do I check about overheating

If the radiator is full and I start my cold MF255,perkins 203,it will immediately push liquid out the overflow.I lose about a quart befor it stops.The thermostat was checked and opens at the correct temperature.There isn't water in the oil.the fan belt is adjusted properly and the radiator is clean.Now what do I check

Well it has to have room for the water mix to expsand , and it will be at the right level if you let it alone , or are you saying it pushes all mix out , but it will be ok with what it has in it, thats enouh , if it just pushes a little like that out, its got an over flo pipe that works to keep it at the right level
