5 liters = 305 cubic inches; fyi 1 liter= 1000 cu. cent.; to convert cubic centimeters to cubic inches multiply cc's by .06102. That's a pretty long number to remember so if you figure 61 cu. in. per liter, you'll be within a couple thousands; 5.0L x 61= 305 cu. in.

Sorry I assumed you where talking about a Mustang

Mercedes Engine V8 5.0L is actualy a 303 C.I.

Ford 5.0L is a 302 C.I.

GM 5.0L is a 305 C.I

I dont think Snide wasn't talking Engines , But Accurate liguid mesurements
