What is the head bolt torque 92 325i

Head Bolt Torque Procedure 92 BMW 325i 2.5 dohc (m50)

w / cast iron engine block:

Step #1.... first tighten all bolts to 30 nm - 22 ib ft.
Step #2.... torque bolts to angle 90 degrees
Step #3.....torque bolts to angle 90 degrees

Note; cylinder head bolts are torque to yield bolts can only be used once and the old bolts must be replaced with new bolts

Note: there shoild be no debris in bolt holes and remove any accumulated oil in the bolt holes in the block- if not improper values may result.

Note: install the new bolts lightly oiled as follows:
Cylinder Head bolt tightening sequence:

(12) (10) (4) (2) (6) (8) (14)

(13) (7) (5) (1) (3) (9) (11)


W / cast aluminum block:
Step#1 tighten first to 40 nm- all steps after this are the same as for the cast iron block.
