What is wrong with my car?

I drive a 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 and it is driving me crazy. Anytime I have my car idleing at like a light or stop sign it revs up over and over and dies. It jerks my car forward and I have to push on my brake really hard to keep it from hitting the person in front of me. If I put it in neutral while ideling it doesn't do it. I put some fuel system cleaner in it and it ran a little better for a couple of days but it is back to the way that it was. What is wrong with my car!?!?!

Sounds like the fuel sensor , or the injecters are bad, when you stop, the injecters are what they call pouring fuel in , unstead of a light mist, of gas, making it surge!

If it ran better with the fuel cleaner then i sugest finding a conklin distrupter and getting 4 power it is the best cleaner i have used
