What makes the airbag light to come on?
I have a 2005 hyundai sonata GLS. Approximately one month ago while travelling, the air bag light repeatedly illuminated and then went off and finally illuminated and stayed on. I went to a dealer who scanned it and got a code indicating the passenger seat sensor. They reset and could not get a code again. The reset lasted for more than one week and then once again is repeated the illumination and off for several times and then stayed on. I went to my local hyundai dealer, who basically repeated the process. However, this time it only stayed off for less than one hour. I returned to that dealer and they told mee that a connector underneath the seat was loose and shorting so they supposedly fixed that. Once again, it lasted only hours before the light came back on.
