When traveling though a state other than you resident state, can you be cited for plastic film over a tag?

The film does not prevent or obstruct info being taken by cameras or other means.

This is a pev from policeman , they hate this film , and says when they shine the brights on the plate , that they can not see it good , and it reflects back on them , and if it get a little road dust on it , its hard to read, so yes they can give you a ticket , but most wont, ohio will get you good over this , they make money writing tickets , in that state, they are road patrol , and thats all they do , cities are no diff,

When traveling into other states you have to know the rules, Obeying and knowing all the laws is impossible but that is how our law works and sometimes you just have to except it.

So, in turn, if this same person travels from TN to NC and their car has tinted windows (not allowed in NC) they'll have to peel the tint off their windows? Seems tit for tat!
