Car take 5 cranks to start, stutters Today it took me 5 trys to start my Car, then it stuttered for about 10 sec. then it was alright.

Why does my Car stutters when i start it?

I have a 2005 Hyundai Accent and almost every time i start up the car and when i running it in idle (at red lights, stop signs, etc.) it stutters and jerks... Other then that it runs fine when I'm driving it

Put some water treatment in your gas tank 1st, then check plugs and spark plug wires, need to replace wires, evey 2 years , then let me know.

You probably have a faulty idle speed sensor, go get it checked with an auto electrician.

Could be bad gas, Could be a sign it needs a tune up, Could be a dirty Air Filter,
