Is this what you are seeing? This is a slide show of common rashes in babies and toddlers. It sounds like baby eczema to me which can be very uncomfortable. You'll just have to avoid things that cause it to flair up and extreme heat and cold. Use all fragrance free soaps, lotions and laundry detergents (dreft). Always consult your doctor when it looks infected or is persistent.

My son had a little rash and blotchy looking skin I talked to his Dr about it and he thought maybe it was baby eczema or allergic reaction. However due to some other issues going on with my son he was able to determine it was due to an allergice reaction. The best thing to do is contact the babies Dr and see what he says.
