Birth certificate

It is not illegal or against the law but it can make it difficult if not impossible for you to obtain a US passport, apply for government jobs or get any job that requires a security clearance.

It's not illegal and the birth certificate most likely exists, just go to or call the town or city hall if a us citizen and for a fee you can get an embossed long form or a less expensive short form. The prper country's consulate can help you if they were born outside the us.

Not sure if it is against the law necessarily. However, no one can go to school or even find a home if needed in the projects.... no birth certificate = no service for lots of things. When it comes to that kind of an answer on school anyhow, yes THAT is against the law not to be able to go to school somehow anyhow, home schooled or whatever.
