You can give her childrens Motrin (use as directed). She may even run a slight fever. DO NOT give her childrens aspirin as it increases the chance of her developing Reyes (pronounced rise) Syndrome a deadly disease that strikes babies, children and some teens. If the injection site is sore, you can use a sparing amount of Band-aid brand hurt free antiseptic wash (which has lidocaine which will relieve the pain) Hope she gets better soon. Susu

Under 6 months of age you will want to ask your pediatrician what they recomend, but I have a 14 month old and we were able to give her tylenol (but ask your doctor about the dose as they determine how much by their weight).

When my daughter had shots, a nice warm bath and a gentle massage (obviously not around the area where she got the shots) will help relax her. By tomorrow she'll be great. Remember you are protecting her and doing something good for her so you can feel good about that!

You should always check with your pediatrition first. Esp. at 2 months old. Dont worry to much it is very common for a baby to react that way after getting shots. They might seem irritable, sleepy, flu like syptoms and a slight fever. If a fever does occur, you need to monitor that closely. You can buy infant pain reliever over the counter but check with your perdiatriacan first. Parents should be cautious when giving acetaminophen to children. For example, the infant drop formula is three times more concentrated than the children's suspension. It's important to read drug labels every time you use a drug and to know what dosage strength you are using. Good Luck
