Iif he adopts your child, he becomes legally and financially responsible for the child for the rest of his life. If the two of you split, he will have to pay child support. The bio dad will need to sign away his rights to allow your boyfriend to adopt your child also. Which means he can't back up and change his mind once he does this. You two are VERY young. I would really suggest continuing to date for while, finish your schooling, get settled in your life and if you two decide to get married.... then pursue the adoption.
