Diaper bruising?

Is it actually possible for a child to be bruised where a diaper was? Even if only on for 2 hours or less, can that happen?

Not normally. Bruising easily is usually a symtom or something more serious medically - or physical abuse. If you are sure it is not physical abuse contact your doctor. Bruising can be symptoms of leukemia or celiac disease among other things.

I have never heard of that with a diaper. It would have to be so tight. Does the baby bruise easily. This could be a medical condition that needs to be checked out.
I would say "no" to a diaper causing bruising
