Do I have to pay child support if I was tricked into a pregnancy?

My girlfriend claimed that she could not get pregnant due to a medical condition and told me that it was not necessary to use a condom. I have since found out that she was on fertility medicine and now she is pregnant. I do not want a child and feel that she tricked me. To make matters worse I have found out that she is married! She says that the baby is mine.

First, you'll need to have a paternity test completed once the baby is born. You would have to prove the malicious intent of deception (saying above that she's your girlfriend defeats that) however, as difficult as that is - courts view consenting adults take all risks whether pregnancy occurs or not - otherwise a father is the father and will have the financial responsibility, and she could seek child support.

What a bi-ITCH!

I do feel some sorry for the girl a little cause obviously she really wanted a baby but then again that was a pretty crappy thing to do.

You'll have to get a test done to see if the kid is really yours or not. And if its not - YEA - you dont have to worry. But if its your kid...well um, your in a hole.

P.S. why didnt wear a condom any way? STDs....

Having 4 boys, trust me I preached birth control & NEVER to believe what the girl said! I told them it WAS their responsibility to protect against unwanted pregnacies!
On the flip side, a guy told me we could have sex cuz he had a dr notice at home saying he was sterile!!
With this said, I would def have dna test. and if baby is yours, you will have to pay child support.
Think with your brain in your head next time , not the one hiding behind the zipper!
