How can i tell how old is a baby pram?

I bought a baby basinet carrige it says made in norway. It has the word "Svithun" on basinet, tires and small hubcabs. On research for brand (Svithun) the results convinces me that this is a last name. I discover on my research that in the old days they would have the last name engraved on baby prams. I have not been able to find one that has the same brake control system as mine, nor the way basket drops its whole body and hangs on the rim, suported by
a hook on each side.

Hello. I have tried to answer a week ago. But i am not sure if you got my answer. Svithun is a Norwegian brand. I was looking for a picture of your pram, but can not find it. But it sounds like a pram from the 50`s. This factory does not exist anymore. The Company name was Maskinhuset AS.
Forus-industrier AS bougth the brand Svithun. They are not produsing prams now.
I am a proud owner of an old Svithun pram from about 1952. I am from Norway.

We have our Swithun pram we bought in England in 1958, light blue in colour, I have slides taken in 1958 if I can find them. The pram flew home to Australia in 1959 with us, carried 3 more children, and 7 grand children, but needs major reconditioning for next generation.

It was very practical. I think one of the Royals(Kent) had one which caught our eye when we were shopping for a pram. I think it cost about 20GBP.
